I’m an Italian casting director based in Rome, working across film, television and commercials. Over the years, I’ve had the pleasure of working with a wide range of filmmakers, from Academy Award winners to emerging directors at the beginning of their careers.

I started out in commercial casting, working on hundreds of campaigns for major brands including Dior, Hallmark, Volvo, Liu Jo, Chrysler, Nintendo, among many others. Building on that experience, I later moved into casting for film and television. My first feature film credit was In Search of Fellini, directed by Taron Lexton and produced by Nancy Cartwright, starring Ksenia Solo, Maria Bello and Mary Lynn Rajskub. The film won Best Foreign Film, Best Director and Best Actress at the 2017 Ferrara Film Festival.

Among my most recent and notable casting projects are Gormiti: The New Era, a children’s adventure series based on the popular toy franchise, spanning two seasons and 20 episodes in total; Le Musk, an experimental and multisensory thriller marking the directorial debut of Academy Award-winning composer A.R. Rahman, starring Nora Arnezeder and Guy Burnet; and Italia Germania 44, a World War II drama currently in post-production.

Outside of casting, I’m also involved in film production, screenwriting and directing.

I grew up with the films of Sergio Leone, John Carpenter and William Friedkin, but it was independent cinema that laid the foundations for my passion for this craft. From Roger Corman’s exploitation movies to the cult films released under Charles Band’s Empire and Full Moon banners, to the work of visionary filmmakers like Frank Henenlotter and Stuart Gordon, genre cinema has always been a source of inspiration for my work, fueling my attraction to bold, original stories and my love for compelling actors.
